Oasis horticubes vs rockwool starter cubes.

I have been using Grodan starter cubes 1" x 1" x 1.5" for 2 years with great success in an NFT lettuce and herb operation. It is getting to be time to reorder and price wise, the grodan is 3-4x more expensive than Oasis. There is no Oasis dealer in the country, so it is a bit difficult to run a trial. Has anyone run a comparision of the Oasis, especially trim cut horticube, vs Grodan starter cubes. I need about 50 cases per year, so I don't want to get the Oasis product if it isn't going to work.

Maybe get someone who uses them to mail you a few, or try contacting this person, he encourages questions and has blogged about the benefits of Oasis vs. Grodan cubes blogger

I think the oasis will be a little more soggy and if it is the same quality of the flower foam, will crumble on the corners. That might not be any problem for you but the price difference sounds too good to be true if they were really comparable in quality.
