So every day i have to adjust my P.H. from 5.0 up to 6.5
and the next day its right back down to 5.0
this is a water culture system with a 12" airstone 10 gallon tank no sunlight hits the water. for nuitrents i used a brand called CNS17 and it has givin me amazing grow results but i just cant get my P.H. level to stay at 6.0-6.5 to raise P.H. i am using General hydroponics PH up.
any help would be greatly appreciated!

| What kind of plants and what phase are they in? What type of nutrients? Vegetative, bloom? I have used a bit of wood ash before to increase pH. Not much. I'd say about 3 teaspoons would do the trick. It seems to last longer than the GH stuff, which I also use. I only use wood ash that is so light that it pretty much wants to float on the wind. I figure that's the purest and no wood is left in it. That's just because I don't know much about how bits of coals could affect the solution. They might be just fine. Anyone else experiment with ash? |
