Old nutrients?

a friend of mine found 2, full 1 gallon jugs of general hydroponics grow nutrients. he said he found them outside next to a creek by his house. he asked me if they could be used. i said i had no idea but i would post here and get an opinion. it has frosted here. i think his plan was just to use the nutes on his existing potted (soil) peppers. any info would be great.

Since general hydroponics main line of nutrients (Flora series) is not organic, it should be fine to use. Good luck!
