Hello,
I run a 7000 liter deepflow hydroponic with a 3000lL/hr external pump, together with a 20watt air pump with 10 big airstones scattered around.
The plan is to use that big amount of water so that i wouldnt have to change nutes for a long time. Although i run the risk of having algae/bacteria buildup overtime. Right now the toxicity of the nutes arent an issue even after 2 months. My main concern is to keepi the nutes as clean as possible.
Ive been looking into UV and the general conclusion is that it has problems with oxidizing iron chelates. I use fe-edta. And then I remembered that there are foliar sprays for micro nutrients and even for iron.
So my question is, if i separate the iron from my nutes water (so i would be able to use UV ), and then use an iron foliar spray ( not sure in what dilution and how often ), will it be enough not to have iron deficiencies in my leafy vegs?
