| I did a quick search and didn't find much, but I'm wondering about using the waste water on container plants with soil placed alongside the hydroponic system. I guess it would depend on how much of the nutrients the hydro plants used but has anyone had success using this as the sole fertilizer for plants in soil.
The plants in soil Begonia, geranium, some succulents, lavender, leafy greens, baby fruit trees (cherimoya, sugar apple) Hydro: tomatoes, peas, watermelon, leafy greens |

| If you're speaking drain to waste, you might end up over watering the plants. Otherwise, I normally use my spent nutrient to water my plants. On a large scale, I don't think its a good idea, but for a small system, I don't think its a problem. |
