What would be good tomato for a NB to grow for the first time in hydro? Not looking for size, just good taste.

Well taste is very subjective. I personally like an heirloom variety called vinson watts. I've also grown early girls hydroponically and they tasted very good. Other popular varieties include beefsteak and german johnson. I don't think you'll go wrong with any of those.

Thanks. I forgot that this forum has people posting from all grow zones, when I posted the question.
I failed to mention I would be trying growing the tomato inside in zone 6. Under 100% artificial light. I know most any tomato can be grown but during my search I did not find anyone saying a certain variety is easier or fewer problems.
I have Early girl seeds on hand I'll give them a try.
Thanks again
kevin.
