| I been wanting to add some root vegetables to my salad garden. The bed give me 1.5 sq. feet of grow space 8" deep. Going to use a micro pump to circulate nutrient. I plan to put a single layer of Hydroton over the Perlite and seed by letting the seeds to fall between the Hydroton.
Anyway going to sow with dozen seeds each of beets. Kohl rabi, bunching onion, turnip and radish. Thin and sow as needed. Well that's the plan.

| I forgot to brag a little. The top picture I harvested 2 pound of salad over the last week. As a NB that dirt garden salad greens this is Awesome. The bonus is that the greens are clean no need to rinse / wash. |
