Hey ya'll.
I'm starting up a trial hydro setup that's not going to involve any pumps. It's really just using soil replacements, along with nutrient rich water to feed the plants with. All being done using a vermiculite/perlite medium. I'll take some photos of what I'm going to do and hopefully get back some suggestions form everyone here.

Question in the mean time:
Can I simply sprinkle seeds (baby carrots to be exact) over my container which only contains vermiculite/perlite? I was thinking of mixing in some coco coir to help make the medium more stable, but will this still work in theory for propagation?
