Bonsai trees and hydroponics

Posted by niza Ontario (My Page) on

I would like to grow a bonsai tree in a hydroponic system. Is it possible? If yes, what would be a good system to grow a bonsai tree in? Drip, water culture, ebb and flow?

I've made some research on the internet but I could not find any info related to what I want to achieve.

Thanks,
Nicu

RE: Bonsai trees and hydroponics

I have tried my hand on bonsai trees a long time ago, but I'm TOO impatient and not artistic enough to create something that looks good. (My brain is dominated by the left side. grin)

Even so, I do remember some of the rules, and I think that it may be possible.
I can't recommend a system, but I would think that a passive wick system may be most practical.
