Sorry, I do not know the answer to your question. :( Is that a Rainforest system in the back I see?! I have one too. Do you have any issues with light leaks or algae growth in that system?

Yes Robert, unfortunately I fear you are correct. It's been almost a week now. I cut it back and there are no signs of new growth. Working on that bringing back from the dead thing though.

StonedTree, that is an Eco Grower that I have but I think it's made by the same company and is the same basic design. It's a top drip. So far I haven' had any problem with algae because it came with coconut husk covers for the stones, but I do have that problem with my water farms which are also top drip. I solved the problem with a very weak hydrogen peroxide solution that I lightly spray on top of the stones away from the stems of the plant. I discovered that when I had tons of algae in an outdoor water feature this summer. Works like a charm and doesn't harm the plants if you use it sparingly and weak.

I'm new to Hydroponics, but I have saw tomatoes planted in containers, that looked that bad, or worse, recover.

Update on my "dead" tomato. I thought it was lost for good, but the last couple of days I am noticing a resurrection. I actually have a new branch of leaves and what looks like new flowers starting on it. Of course it's the only branch on the entire plant, but there is hope!! These guys seem indestructable! I actually cooked the plant in it's own reservoir and it's still living! Thanks everyone!!!
