This one was taken on the 19th.
the two older ones were taken on november 28.
The one with the smaller plants was taken on December 10.
The reservoir originally held 7L of nutrients. since then I've added one liter of nutrient and one Liter of water, on seperate occasions.
We've pinched some leaves off and given them a nibble.




It passed the 3 year old test.

Looks similar to what I experienced - rather leggy but nice size leaves. I've got three Swiss Chard and three Lettuce plants (the latter are not ready to move yet) I would like to grow under a 14 watt, all-blue panel and try aeroponics on them. I can keep the plants an inch or two from the panel so they should get plenty of light, at least until they start getting big!

Hopefully, I can start the grow in about two weeks.

they started off very leggey. the lights were originally about 2" off the sprouts. In retrospect, I would probably just about sit the panel on the netpots at the beginning.
As a result the plants tend to flop around at the base.
I'm not terribly familiar with grand rapids lettuce, so I can't really say they're that leggy, other than the floppy bases.
I guess I need to chop it up and see if there's enough for family salad night.

Keep us informed, as I will. Grandpa use to always tell me I would not learn how to do something at a younger age.

Do you have a fan on your plants? And, what is the temp like?

No fan and the temperature is maybe a degree or two above the ambient temperature. The room is cooler than the rest of the house, so it stays somewhere around 70�.
