EcoPlus 1/2' Barbed Inline Valves keep leaking

Has anyone had any issues with EcoPlus 1/2" Barbed Inline Valves leaking? I bought 2 bags of 10 and every single one of them leaked from the tops. About 30 gallons leaked out over night and almost everything died! I've had the same basil plant for over 2 years and kept taking cuttings from it and cloning it into smaller plants but I don't think it's going to make it. I couldn't return the valves b/c some of the items I ordered were on back order for over 30 days, so by the time I got all the parts I needed to set everything up, it was past the 30 day return policy.

I was planning on using the 1/2" Barbed Inline Valves w/ 1/2" Quick Disconnects, so I could easily remove items to clean them and to change the configuration of my setups.

Here's 2 links to what I ordered:

What do you mean leaking from the tops? What do you consider the top? When your pump shouts off does water pressure remain in the line? There not check valves. Just small openings, and any water pressure will allow water to continue to flow through he openings (even gravity feed pressure).

P.S.
For any reputably company or retailer the return policy starts from the day you receive the product, and not before that (just something to consider).

If you buy lousy valves, they will leak. I can tell you from experience that cheap valves always bite you in the butt.

It's the valve seal that is leaking and, on cheap valves this can't be tightened and fixed.

Get some brass valves.
