Brisbane mainland corresponds to 10b if you compared the Aussie system to the USDA zones used our system. You'd feel right at home in southern Florida south of Lake Okeechobee, a good portion of the state ... and the Keys, which act tropical and warmer are the same as Moreton Island.

Or if you like a dry 10b, for us that's everything coastal from Santa Barbara (furthest point north where bananas have been grown commercially) to just south of Los Angeles.

I have the same problem here --- Thanks a lot the link which is useful for Florida ideas too, I'll have a look at it for summer. Have had bad luck in the summer due to heat and algae running like mad when we are a humid mess. BTW, Florida commercial winter strawberries just went into production and they are from central Florida, zone 9b, meanwhile the rest of the country is pretty frigid and wet & icy as out winter solstice is in just over a week from now.

Growing hydroponics may not be a difficult task as many people would possibly think. Hydroponics helps your plants to get more nutrients because there is always superior air to water ratio in almost all hydroponics.
