My daughter lives in Spokane and I have offered to plant a vegetable garden for her. She moved in July last summer and I gave her a tomato and zuchini that were many times more productive than mine on the coast. When do you, near Spokane, start your garden and what grows well?
Do you have suggestions for a good strawberry for your area?

| I'm in the Boise area. Our frost date is May 8. I'm going to get some frost hardy plants going soon, but the tomatoes need to wait for warmer weather. |
