Has anyone had success growing albas in southern Idaho?

I grow some old garden roses, but the albas seem really unhappy here. I had 'Celeste' ('Celestial') for awhile, and eventually just gave up on it . . . and I notice the IBG has had trouble getting theirs to thrive, too.

I'd like to grow an alba or two, but I'm wondering whether they just resent the heat and low humidity. I'm not sure whether it's just 'Celeste,' or all of the albas, that have this problem.

Does anyone grow albas successfully in the Boise area (or similar climates)? If so, which ones?

Okay, um, I guess if no one replies, that means that no one is doing it?! Ah, well, there are plenty of other types of roses to grow.
