Impatiens are Rubbery and Dying one by one

I'm experienced at growing impatiens in hanging pots. I bought this one in June and had it hanging on my deck. By September, it looked leggy and not very healthy, though it was flowering well. So I cut it back when I took it indoors. It did okay for awhile, but now, one by one, each of the plants in the pot is turning rubbery and not coming back when watered. They just die. There are no insects, and I don't water until the soil is dry. What could be wrong? I'd like to save the rest of the plants in the pot. Thank you for your help.
