Impatiens self seed here and come back every year. Is it just that the different ones are harder to grow?

I saved a plant from last year and seedlings have come up in the pot. No warming mat etc

Bedding type Impatiens can be really easy to start with out even trying. I have them come up everywhere in my greenhouse but funny thing is not in my garden... yet. I mostly get many of the real annual types like balfouri.
