I just wanted to tell you that, because of root rot, I now have 1/10th of my former New Guinea impatiens, but at least, this part is healty and growing. But that was close! Sometimes, those plants impress me by their will to survive.

It is strange that, for instance, with an African violet, you know very quickly that a leaf is dead. And if a lot of leaves die one by one, that it is root rot. Impatiens are more tricky, I think. Leaves slowly got curly, day after day branches looked "tired", and when I realized that I might check the roots, nearly all of them were dead!

I cut nearly everything above the ground, and now, all what remains seems OK.
