Impatiens Glandulifera 'Policemen's Helmet' Wine Red

| I found a listing at Annie's Annuals for this wine red I. Glandulifera as a plant...but it didn't appear on her "available" list. Does anyone have (or know another source) seeds for this? I'd love to grow some.
I'm also interested in other richly colored Gladuliferas (other than the pale orchid).
Many thanks,

Patrick Annies Impatiens Red Wine is just now coming up. She found this one online but I dont know where. But once you get it it will be hard to loose. She also has Candida which is pure white but you are right the red is very pretty. |

| What a surprise..FireVicar from the Northwest Exchange forum pointed out that Imp. glandulifera (unfortunately classified as a noxious weed in W. Washington) grows uninvited along a stream in a park not far away. They are predominantly dark red (hopefully Wine Red) plus pink and white. I now have about 20 seedlings potted up and ready to grow. I can see by the stem & leaf coloring that I have a variety. When they bloom I'll eliminate any color(s) I don't want. Patrick |
