All my niamniamensis grow like bushes. When it is happy flowers will grow from the soil level to the tip top of the plant. I have a couple of seedling that have been in two inch pots and they are pretty tight in there. What is interesting is that they have a caudex at the base. I have noticed that once they are potted up into larger pot they will out grow this. In the wild this species will also grow as an epiphyte like orchids.

Thanks. I think I am going to let them be bushy also. It just seems like there would be more blooms that way. It is already so hot and sticky here. I am watching them closely.
