| I am growing annuals from seed for the first time this year and I'm running out of room! I want to store as many plants outside as possible and I'm wondering how impatiens seedlings will do outdoors.
They like the shade, so I would keep under the maple tree, but it will be up to 90 degrees here this week and down to 35. What's too cold and too hot for them? |

| Hi - I think what's too cold for them is about 32, assuming they're a decent size with a couple of leaves. I gotten to the point where I just start my impatiens outside either directly in the ground or in bigger flats. They are so easy to grow and quick, I don't bother with them in advance. Good luck! |
