Overwatered New Guineas

| I ordered some New Guinea impatien plugs and transplanted last weekend. My friend totally overwatered them and I could tell when I lifted the flat. I thought they dry out but it's not Thursday and they are still pretty wet and look terrible - kind of like they've been underwatered but their still totally soaked so I know that's not the problem. Will they likely be OK once I let them dry out? Any suggestions? |

Melrose Hope your impatiens are getting better. If they are still droopy, could you take some cuttings and put them in water? At least then you would be able to root some new plants. If the plants haven't improved yet, I wouldn't give up. I would try the cuttings. Sherry |
