Looking for a name of an Impatien

lilacs

My grandma use to have these flowers that she called touch me nots, they would come back year to year and we would pull up starts and have them too. Mine have quit coming back (probably due to collecting the seed and giving away---could be some of it LOL) but I can not find them in catalogs or at a greenhouse. In fact when I explain they grew taller, and the she had like 3 or 4 colors they just look at me. A few yrs. ago I saw them in a Stroke catalog under the impatien family, and of course I do not know the name. Grandma passed away last June and her place is sold so...... Would appreciate any help on where to find seed. THANK YOU!

It sounds like you are talking about Impatiens balsamina. Its the classic Impatiens that has been grown for centuries. You can easily find it in many seed catalogs or even on Ebay.
