Blooms falling from Double rose impatiens prematurely

My wife just bought some New Guinea & double rose impatiens in hanging baskets for our screened back porch. They have only been there for approx 1 week and the blooms and also the buds that were on the plants are falling off. Is there not enough direct sun light?..Is there too much something?..What can be the problem?

I have had the same happen to me. It could be shock but this is a common complaint with doubles. I dont think there is much you can do but let them settle in.

They probably wont do well in that location unless they get at least dappled sunlight. I've never had them do well in complete shade. Also, never let them dry to the point of wilting or they'll dump their buds.
