Can I plant my impatiens deeper

Posted by maryjanej 5 (My Page) on

Hi,
I started some impatiens from seed earlier this spring and they got a little leggy. I would like to know when I go to plant them in the ground if I can plant them deeper just like tomatoes?
Thanks
Mary-Jane

Hi Mary Jane

I suggest you look at some of the older posting on the pinch and poke method,

It may be just what you need

Mary Jane- Mine were leggy too, so I just planted them deep with only the tops right above ground level. So far, so good.
