Pitting on impatien petals?

Posted by herbivore 6B (My Page) on

I finally got my impatiens last week, since we're finally about 60+ here in NJ on a consistent basis.

I am noticing some of the petals look a bit pitted, like they have tiny pock marks or such.

Does anyone know what this is?

Herbivore
It sounds like water marks. Sometimes older petals get these spots.
