Deepika They are just double bedding plants really. You can find them in any seed catalog under many names but its easier to buy the plants at a local nursery. |

| Hi Deepika, What a coincidence. I just bought a double impatiens plant today! The flowers look just like little roses. The plant was labeled simply "double impatiens." I'm not sure where to find seeds, I got my plant at the local Home Depot. Mark |

| Are there any instructions for growing for this particular type of inpatiens? My other ones are doing great - but I'm having trouble with this type - blooms are falling off (overwatering?) or either not opening (not enough sun?). Do they like the shade? Thanks! |

| Thanks for your replies. They are really very cute arent they? They bloom like crazy and ckthomas00 they do fall off very easily. Like any other impatiens they do best in part shade. -Deepika |

I keep mine in 8 inch or larger, depending on the size of the plant, flower pots. I use miracle grow potting soil and keep them in afternoon sun. I just place the pots in the partial sun garden and they just grow and grow and grow. I've never found the flowers to fall off easily but I just love them. They root easily in water, so after they have grown a bit I take cuttings, root them in water in the house and have them growing all winter. |
