Headless Impatiens!

Last year the deer didn't touch my bed of impatiens...but this year I awoke to find four decapitated!
These are varigated New Guinea and I was wondering if there's any chance of them surviving. The stem and bottom leaves are left...seems whoever it was just wanted the tasty flowers!
Any hope?
