no buds on my impatiens!

| I've been planting impatiens every year for 10 years, and have had no problems. This year for the first time, I started from seed (Accent variety). The white didn't even sprout, but the red and pink seedlings looked beautiful...small but compact. When I planted them, they took off. The plants are well formed, not leggy, but no buds at all!! The red ones have some of the biggest leaves that I've ever seen on impatiens. I've been consistantly using Miracle grow, and have just applied a 10-60-10 fertilizer that is supposed to improve budding. Any ideas on why this has happened and what I can do? |

| I expect your original fertilizer provided too much N so that vegetative growth exceeded reproductive development. |
