Do impatiens get leafminers?

| Some of my impatiens leaves have strange dead looking discoloration which seems follow the veins. They're not winding around like leafminers usually do, but I don't know what it could be. Would sunburn do that? I moved them a couple weeks ago out of a spot where they were getting too much sun and they had them then. The leaves and flowers looked faded. |

| I have never heard of them getting leaf miners. Leaves and flowers will fade in strong light. |

I know that wild impatiens (jewelweed) will get leaf miners but I have not experienced it with regular bedding impatiens or garden balsam impatiens. Penny |

| Mine have leaf miners (I think). It's the first time I've ever seen it. Doesn't seem to bother them, tho. Linda |
