Leaves Yellowing

I just FINALLY planted five flats of impatiens - all in shade (maybe a touch of morning sun). Before planting, the leaves were turning yellow - I kept them moist. Maybe too moist? It's not a spotted leaf like a fungus, just yellow and they are small. All the impatiens I've ever had were with bigger leaves. What kind of fertilizer? I used some Schult'z Bloom Booster a week ago. Does planting too late (keeping them in flats too long) cause this?

Yep keeping them in flats will cause that.

It may be that they were root bound--I hope you loosened the roots a bit. It may be that they weren't getting thoroughly wet or were getting too wet or it may be lack of fertilizer.

If they are still that way after a while and fail to grow, It's because they were root bound and the only cure is to dig them out and loosen the roots.
