| Well, I went to Lowe's and got one of these yesterday. I think the bloom is Grape Crush or maybe Raspberry Rose, according to pictures I've seen online. The plant is 5" tall. Anyone grow this one indoors? I have it in the shade right now, on a pebble tray for extra humidity. Do they like to be misted? Any suggestions would be appreciated! I'm brand new to them. Thanks!

I have never grow Imps as a house plant. But I will give my best shot. They like a bright cool area. If they get to much shade they well get real leggy. Misting should be good as well. In a dry area like the house mites can be a problem so, you should watch for these as well.

Thank you for replying! This must be a slow board, am I right? I love impatiens, but I think you are right - my last one seemed to have succumbed to mites. So far so good with this cute little guy. Thanks again! Randi

I bought 3 medium sized New Gunia Impatiens from an outlet for $1.50 and I have them inside the house. I have had them for about a month. They seem to be doing well right now, but early on they looked pitiful from transplant shock. I keep them in a window sill and so far they have only produced one bloom at a time but each bloom is beautiful. I live in GA so I am not sure if this makes a difference zone wise. I pinched back about four branches total and inserted the part I pinched off back into the soil. So far two have taken root. Engi

Glad to hear about your success with the rooting, Engi! Maybe there is hope for my indoor impatiens after all. Can't wait until it blooms! Randi
