There are hard to find. There was a seed series called, Firelake that had variegated leaves. There is still one wild form in cultivation but I have never collected seeds of it then again it has only flowered once in the close to ten years I have grown it. Most breeding companies think people dont like them so they dont breed them as much anymore. I personally love them they are so much prettier than the green ones during the period they stop flowering.

Thanks indeed, MrImpatiens, I will try and track some of them down by next spring. My two dark-leaved plants are still in bloom in the house, and I have a really beautiful green-leaved one with amazing pink flowers. The odd thing is, I thought they were too flamboyant and never bought any; then I saw three almost dead ones which aroused my pity, and the supermarket let me have them for 30 cents. They are the ones mentioned above, and I am a complete convert. I suppose the beautiful leaves of your plant suppress the flowers somewhat, which happens, I believe, with many variegated plants.
