I have this New Guinea Impatiens in a the ground. And started to notice that the leaves are turning black and some have yellow on the leaves. It gets full sun about 3 hours. How much water does this need? Is this plant savable?

RE: new guinea impatiens

It sounds like your plant is getting to much sun and is cooking in your heat. My NGs are in shade for the most part. They dont really care for full sun, morning sun is fine but afternoon and evening is just a little to much for them. It can be saved. Try cuttings and move it to a shadier location. I believe that would help. Many Impatiens will wilt when hit with sun even when well watered.
