dying impatiens

help! i have no idea what to think. i'm a new gardener with alot of different plants in my beds. i have a small bed of impatiens which started out great, grew,bloomed hooray! for the last 2 weeks, every day i walk my garden, one entire plant is dead, not just a section. the whole thing is wilted and brown! just 1 a day, what could this be? ive lost half my bed!!! thanks for any advice

Sometime rats or mice might take a few down. I hear voles will take down huge succulent type plants like impaties. I would have guess cold weather but if its one a day its not that. Is the break clean or does it look all brown and mushy. If mushy it maybe rot. If clean I would guess a animal of some kind.
