overwintering problems, help!...

Hi All,

I brought this one pot of impatients inside this winter. I overwintered it over last year as well with no problem in my kitchen, it just defoliated last year in the winter. This year I brought it in again and it was okay for alittle but now one half (one plant) is dying it seems. It is slowly going limp one stock by another. It is almost as if each stock is getting frozen and going limp the way they do outside in the fall. -This isn;t what is happening though, it isn't near a window or anything. I have a feeling it might be root rot. It may also not be getting enough light on that side because it's on a shelf. The funny thing is the other half (the other plant) of the pot seems to be perfectly fine. Is there anything I can do to save the plant? It sure would be nice to keep this nice plant alive.

thanks,

-DB.
