WANTED: new to iowa and G.W.

is there any one out there. no posts in this forum for almost two years. moved to ia from n.y. in o8.i have an internet connection for the first time in 3 years and i found garden web just last week.iwould like to hear about whats rare and interesting in the natural places in iowa i.e. plants rocks fossils fish reptiles etc.most of my list is stuf i brought with me from upstate n.y.. i grow bonsai mostly and garlic

Welcome to Iowa. What part of the state do you live in? I am in the southwest part of Iowa, in the Loess Hills area. I grow mostly flowers and raise caterpillars into butterflies. If you have questions I will try to answer.
