Need help planning a windbreak

Good morning everyone!
I hope you have all survived the storm and have electricity.
Where could I go to get advice on planning a windbreak? Are there county offices that I could go to? I cannot remember what type of office it would be. I know that I can go to the local nurseries and such, but I have heard that the county offices can be of help too.
Thanks!

Go to the Iowa State University Extension Service website (see link below) for info on a windbreak. Use the search box for "windbreak". Or, look in your phone book under "E" for Extension Service ISU... They have some publications online in pdf files and no doubt have printed ones at the county offices.

But, be patient may county offices are very busy right now with helping farmers and others with storm related problems.

Here is a link that might be useful: ISU Extension Service website
