Wow, 100 robins in one yard is really something. I've seen zero. Maybe your place is "the" place to be if you're a robin! ;o)

We have quite a few here in Washington, too, and they're eating the crab apples. I don't remember seeing them so early, and they've been here since mid-January, even before it got really cold. I just thought they were returning early because of the mild winter. Of course, that was before 'mild' turned 'wild'!

I saw them too! Back even in January I saw them all huddling under evergreen bushes, eating a some kind of red berry that fell from them. I felt so sorry for them! I've been seeing more now that it is warmer. Hope they do well!
