Things are greening up

I've been gardening a long time and I've never seen so many perennials and bulbs starting to emerge this early. I have tulips far from the house that have tips showing. I never cut off tops in one bed and some annuals like snapdragons and verbena bonariensis have new growth or the stems are still green. Some annual seeds are up, a hydrangea that always dies back to the ground has green stems with a few buds. I didn't think the winter was that mild. We have had more moisture this month and it all sinks in. Anyone else noticing this?

was out cleaning up the garden beds today, noticed my lambs ear and autumn joy have some shoots peeking out. No tulips yet.
