wondered if anyone has had experience with bulb food and when should be used???

thanks....i have tulips, daffodils, amaryllis and tuberoses. I have a hard time getting tuberoses to bloom - gets too late and frost gets them.

RE: bulb food ?

I like the Peace of Mind Organic Bulb Food (3-8-8)it contains extra phosphorous for sustained flowering and potassium to help plants become more disease resistant. Works great on tulips, daffodils, gladiolus, dahlias and all flowering plants and trees. You should be applying it now

I just use bone meal. It works well unless you have stray dogs that might be attracted...my dogs don't seem to care about it at all...
