Favorite large pot sources?

That's pot as in "container," not "smoke." ;o)

I like big ceramic or clay pots, the kind that are a couple feet or more in diameter. Does anyone know of a cash & carry place in Iowa that sells large pots with interesting character?

I'm looking for pots that make an architectural statement. Maybe they have unusual shapes, details, interesting color variation (not solid colors), carving, etc. Or maybe some interesting crocks that aren't too pricey. Earl May carries different sizes and colors of large pots, but they don't have much character.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Culver's and Pecks in Cedar Rapids have nice pots . They are kinda $$$ but nice pots. Have you looked on E-bay. Have gotten some window boxes and trellis there.

Thanks, Koszta kid. Cedar Rapids might be worth a day trip sometime!

(Sorry for the delay replying... I marked my post to send responses to my email so I'd know if someone replied, but for some reason your message didn't come through.)

I like to get my larger pots at Forever Green in North Liberty Iowa. Culver's and Peck's have wonderful stuff, but they come with a wonderful price too. Forever Green has just as nice of stuff and the price allows you to be able to afford to buy something to plant in it after you get it home. ;)
