Soil Temp Maps

I just discovered that soil temperature maps are posted for all of Iowa, which is handy if you're eager to plant and don't want seeds to rot in soil that's too cool.

The maps are near the bottom of this page - you have to scroll to find them.

That is so cool! (no pun intended) Looks like we have awhile to wait but that is okay as I am expecting #3 any day. There will be plenty of warm days where baby and the other two kiddos can be outside "helping" me get things in the ground.
