Junipers in Des Moines

Can anyone tell me if & how well a Priarie Pillar or Skyrocket Juniper would grow in Des Moines. I live in Texas, but am doing research for my sister there. They have a small backyard and neighbors that look right into the back of their house & yard. These are decribed as growing 15 to 20 Ft. tall and only 2 to 3 Ft. wide. What a perfect screen for their yard. Any input?? Thanks.

They don't have a long lifespan (20 years) but are definitely hardy there...the rest you know.(skyrocket: z4-...)

Des Moines is zone 5a FYI

Would make a nice different screen as it is not commonly used around these parts of the country.
