i am thinking about putting out some more
rhubarb plants and was wondering how much good
chicken manure with old pine shavings
would do for newly planted rhubarb ??
or would horse manure (or any other type of manure) do the rhubarb more good
any suggestions ??

RE: re planting rhubarb

I've used both but my really best success instantly___I mean this season was to put 1 cup of 10-10-10 in the ground around each established hill. Probably half that much would be plenty around new hills. Rhubarb is a very heavy feeder and will get skinny if it needs something.
