| All the creeks And Iowa river over-flowing in Iowa County. I pray this rain goes to area who needs it-drought areas. Farmer haven't been able to get in fields. We got flooded last night. Got 3 inches of rain Friday. Total of 9 inches in one week. Was lucky flower beds are raised. Like to raise them more. And until I can get some good soil hauled+ my compost. Making raised veggy garden. Only doing couple up-side down matters. |

| Well, I hope you dry out soon. Too much of anything (even rain) can be a problem. However, Dr. Elwynn Taylor, the Iowa State University climate guru, is starting to tell his readers that we might be in for a dry summer. His discussions on weather are often above and beyond my pay grade...but evidentially he is concerned about the "La Nina" peaking... |
