Gardens to see on Ragbrai??

Hello--
Before we know it, it will be the last week in July, and time for Iowa's annual biking extravaganza. I am again driving a support vehicle for our bike club, and want to take the opportunity to visit some wonderful Iowa gardens along the way. This year's route has us starting in Sargeant Bluff, then going through Audubon, Ida Grove, Waukee, Newton, Marengo, and Coralville, before ending in Muscatine. Do you have a garden in one of these towns or know of some that would be worth visiting? I posted a similar message to this two years ago, and heard from some great gardeners who were willing to give us a tour of their gardens. And I'd like to know of any public gardens along the way, too. Thank you Iowa gardeners! The gardens hold more appeal for me than the bikes!

Newton has a lovely Arboretum....with a nice bike path ( LOL! Just what you want!) a hosta garden, a gazebo, rose gardens and a stream in a native plant area..
If you are interested, email me and I'll give you directions.
I don't know what the route is through town nor how you will enter but it's on the east edge of town.
