Create lots of pots that you can plug in places where things are looking a little under the weather. Make them easy on yourself by using things you aren't paying a premimum for --ie - coleus, impatiens, petunias.

Don't go all out now just because you were asked --keep your garden as it is.. Remember, you were asked because it is already beautiful. Keep up on weeding every day by spending a half hour on any trouble spots so you aren't going wild in June trying to get the creeping charlie under control.

Use simple accessories to brighten the living areas --pillows, candles, bouquets of fresh flowers. Don't spend a lot of money --use what you have.

I heard of someone that had guests sign a guest book -- I think that might be a nice touch. And it would let you know where everyone came from.

And the most important thing is to relax and have a good time with it ---
