Baptisia

I planted a lot of Baptisia seed last year and I think they have come up but am not sure what they look like as a young plant. They are about 4 to 5 inches high and are kind of crowded in the area they are in. Would it be possible to carefully dig some up and start in pots? Would they keep over the winter indoors in a sunny window? Or should I transplant them outdoors? They have an oval but slightly rounded leaf on the end. I would appreciate any suggestions.
