Road Trippin' this weekend

Heading south for a garden road trip this weekend. Neighbor and I are going to Danville to The Secret Garden and then to Weaver to visit Denny's. This is our first time heading south so it should be a good time. We'll be heading down 218 and across on 34. Anybody have a favorite lunch spot to recommend?

Later in June I'll be heading north to Ionia to The Perennial Flower Farm. They have 1/2 acre of lilies that will be in bloom. It's an amazing sight! I got a very unusual clematis there last year --tangutica-- and I must have another one! They also have a large selection of alpines and rock garden plants that I just love.

Anyone else planning a road trip?

Cricket...could you give me directions to The Perennial Flower Farm? Do they sell lilies? Are you talking day lilies or other bulb type lilies? I have been looking for a source without having to mail order. I live just over the river in Wisconsin. (That is if the bridges don't wash out!)

Mary Lu - I forgot to bring the directions to work again today. I'm so sorry. I'll leave myself a message on my answering machine at home and put them in my purse tonight. I'll post them on Monday. I've been wearing my special airhead bonnet lately.
